Brighton Chefs' Table 2017: Meet the Restaurants

With Brighton Chefs' Table (our exciting restaurant pop up event in support of Rockinghorse Children's Charity) less than 2 weeks away, we wanted to tell you about the fantastic Brighton restaurants whose chefs are contributing their time and spectacular dishes to this unique culinary event.

etch. – Steven Edwards

The first restaurant of Masterchef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards, etch. offers fantastic tasting menus that, due to their focus on the freshest local produce that Sussex has to offer, change on a weekly basis.

64 Degrees – Michael Bremner

Tucked away in the Brighton Lanes, 64 Degrees is a small restaurant with an open kitchen by Great British Menu 2017 winner chef Michael Bremner where chefs concoct an evolving menu of delicious small plates.

The Chilli Pickle – Alun Sperring

The Chilli Pickle, a popular Brighton foodie choice, serves up a range of fabulous regional Indian dishes, from Punjabi Aubergine Curry to Tandoori Hara Seabream, in their stylish lanes location.

GB1 – Alan White

Our own GB1 Seafood Restaurant offers a choice of fine, freshly caught local seafood. Executive Chef Alan White’s brigade of passionate, inventive chefs add a contemporary touch to classic British cuisine and seafood favourites.

The Set – Dan Kenny

This charming, 20 cover restaurant is located on beautiful Regency Square and serves carefully crafted set menus focused on seasonality and the best of British produce.

Hotel Du Vin & Bistro – Senior Sous Chef

The great à la carte and Prix Fixe menus at the Bistro in Hotel Du Vin blend traditional French cuisine with modern British cooking. The warm ambience and lively atmosphere also make for a wonderful dining experience.

The Restaurant at Drakes – Andy Vitez

You'll find a range of fantastic European cuisine being served in the restaurant at Drakes Hotel, with seasonal tasting menus and an offering of a specific wine to match each of their tasting dishes.
