The Grand Brighton shortlisted as a finalist in the People Awards 2018

The Grand Brighton hotel has been shortlisted as a finalist in the People Awards 2018, in the Leadership in Recruitment, Retention and Development category.

Rewarding the best talent initiatives in the UK hospitality industry, the awards shine a light on success in recruitment, retention and development across 13 categories.

The Grand Brighton has been recognised for the team’s strength in people management, having demonstrated its independent spirit, people-led ethos and solution-led approaches to bringing the best out of the team and the hotel as a whole.

The panel of judges comprising experts and innovators in the sector will be tasked with deciding the final winners, to be announced in a ceremony on 1 October.

Andi Hirons, People and Projects Manager at The Grand Brighton said: “We are excited to have been shortlisted for a People Award, as our people ultimately make us who we are, so it is fantastic to be recognised for both our leadership and the strength of the team itself.

“This continues to be an exciting year for the hotel as we draw ever closer to unveiling the results of our restoration works, and the refreshed face of our Victorian façade.”
