Andrew Mosley, General Manager of The Grand Brighton, said: “We are so excited for what promises to be a brilliant day of entertainment, celebrating what is always a highlight of the city’s annual calendar. As we head into the second Brighton half marathon as the headline sponsor, it’s fantastic to be a part of an event that makes a real difference by fundraising for such a variety of vital causes – we’ll be cheering on our own team of five runners too.
“Runners and spectators this year can also enjoy an improved view as they pass through the course, with our fresh new façade standing proudly en route!”
The race is organised by The Sussex Beacon charity who provide specialist support and care for people living with HIV through both inpatient and outpatient services. It helps hundreds of people living with HIV in Sussex. The Grand Brighton Half Marathon is the charity’s biggest annual event, as well as being a significant fundraising event for a variety of other worthy charities and causes.
