Iconic seafront hotel The Grand Brighton held a wedding showcase on 18 February 2019 giving future brides and grooms the opportunity to meet local handpicked suppliers in floristry, entertainment and more, while discovering the beautiful event spaces on offer at the hotel for wedding ceremonies, receptions and private parties
Guests enjoyed champagne and canapes on arrival before exploring the hotel’s spaces which had been dressed and decorated. The Napoleon room boasting sea views and balcony access was dressed for an intimate wedding dinner, with bright, spring florals by Tony Dunn Flowers giving a rustic feel.
GB2 and the Albert room, the hotel’s original ballroom, were set up for larger scale dinners featuring pedestals and table settings along with pops of colour from bright foliage. The spacious Regent Room and Alexandra room were showcasing large-scale ceremony setups, available for creatively flexible theming.
The Grand Brighton’s wedding coordinator, Sarah Crombie, was on hand throughout the evening for appointment bookings to help bring couples’ wedding visions to life, while the hotel’s Spa team were talking all things wedding makeup. Along with the florals, several local suppliers were also available at the showcase, including Will Mavin music and production specialists Reveries Events.
Sarah Crombie at The Grand Brighton said: “We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming so many couples to see first hand the stunning spaces we have on offer for weddings at The Grand Brighton, as well as showcasing the calibre of local wedding suppliers we have on our doorstep.
