Ethiopian acrobats from Circus Abyssinia - as seen in Tim Burton’s Dumbo - line the staircase of The

On Tuesday 21st May, acrobats from Circus Abyssinia performed at The Grand Brighton in a special pop-up demonstration ahead of of their stunning family show Ethiopian Dreams opening at The Warren, for Brighton Fringe 2019.

The Ethiopian circus troupe, which recently featured in Tim Burton’s live-action Dumbo film, performed an exclusive preview of their Fringe show throughout the hotel around its iconic Grand staircase and in front of the hotel's newly refurbished facade.

Hotel guests enjoyed a preview of Ethiopian Dreams show, an unashamedly joyful family show brimming with astonishing stunts and enchanting adventure which follows the magical true tale of brothers Bibi and Bichu, who dreamed as little boys of joining the circus and grew up to help raise a phenomenal new tradition of circus in Ethiopia.

From death-defying tricks and a stunning ensemble feats of juggling, human juggling, contortion, hoop-diving and Chinese pole, this is not one to miss at this year's Brighton Fringe. Festival performances run from 22nd May through to 2nd June 2019 at The Warren.
